really nice right out of the bottle, this is a beautiful ruby red beautiful nose of sweet berries, just great, aerated in the mouth the tannins are great nicely integrated and soft, the finish is really nice and almost one minute. a real nice surprise for the reasonable price

Surprisingly rich and forward for a 1998 which otherwise seem pretty vacuous and flat.

colour: dense, young, deep deep garnet with slightly purple tinge. Nose: black fruit, smoke, minerals, sand! very fine. taste: young and quite strong could do with 2 - 3 years to calm down a little. black fruit and grape skin. this is lovely wine drinking well now but will undoubtedly improve.

Stone fruit and floral notes on nose. Peaches, mineral components, nectarines on mouth. Lychee components and medium/ full mouth feel. Slight sweetness and very refreshing.

Wow! Fantastic nose - a good amount of stink coupled with aromas of sweet spice, raspberries and, strawberry-rhubard pie. It's light on the palate, mainly showing raspberry and strawberry flavours and finishing with a light white pepper element. This wine is so unique. Definitely will buy more of this.

not as good as the last time but great nose of spice, cherry, and typical zin appeal. Noted for its complexity, this zin has more mineral and floral notes. Med weight, nice fruit finish

Explosive nose of ripe fruits. Dark blueberries dipped in chocolate on the attack. Great acidity and well integrated tannins that are still pretty big. I would have guessed much younger. Delicious
