2006 Little Penguin - Shiraz
great wine! This wine showed little hope the first day. I let it sit overnight and I'm very glad I did. The result was a very fruit forward, medium bodied shiraz. The kind of wine that was very pleasant to drink! Everyone buy this this wine if you are on a budget!

2006 Little Penguin - Shiraz
Nice medium red color. Nose full of strawberries, menthol and red fruits with hints of spice. Wonderful mouth full of fruits, menthol and leather notes. Best wine at a value price point.

2000 Lindemans - Pyrus
Lovely floral notes with deep, rich notes of plum and ripe red berries. I think this wine was under appreciated. Nice and smooth with hints of tobacco and menthol.

2006 Black Opal - Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon
Upon opening: Nose full of rich molasses, and smoky/oaky notes. Ripe berries and hints of spice on the nose as well. Mouth: full of oak. Hard to distinguish anything beyond the oak tones. Slight bitterness and a medium light body. 24hrs later: Nose full of ripe red fruits and spice. Mouth much more appealing with fruits and spices. Hints of oak.

2006 Grand Traverse - Riesling
Stone fruit and floral notes on nose. Peaches, mineral components, nectarines on mouth. Lychee components and medium/ full mouth feel. Slight sweetness and very refreshing.

2005 BV Coastal Estates - Pinot Noir (Private Cellars)
Very pleasant nose. Simplicity and medium hints of blueberries, raspberries, mentol and spice. Color is Medium red. Mouth is medium/light and refreshing, full of berries and hints of spice. Slight metallic component. Overall nice, simple, light, refreshing pinot noir.

2006 Borsao - Tres Picos
Nice deep red color. Nose is wonderful with hints of oak and big red fruits (strawberry, raspberries). Jammy nose and mouth. Wonderful full mouth feel with decent integration of alcohol.

2001 Black Opal - Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon
Nose full of raisins and dark red fruits. Tar and fruit on the mouth. Sharp mouth shows nice acidity with fine tannin. However, not very good integration of alcohol. Not hot, just awkward.

2004 Casa Donoso - Clos Centenaire
This wine is smooth. Full of fruit. This wine gets better every time I open it!

2004 Heath - Chardonnay/Viognier Southern Roo
This was very enjoyable. The wine showed spice and mineral components that matched the fruit wonderfully. Nose: stonefruit Mouth: good spice and mineral component. Peaches or apricot.
